“Signs & Wonders”

“Signs & Wonders” is the name of this original and unusual tea service: The amorphous porcelain pieces, with their delicately curved edges, are like found objects, treasured from a walk in nature and pleasing to the touch. This world is also populated by fabulous, surreal beings and strange animals. Although the object – like nature of this service is paramount – the teapot, for example, is essentially a sculpture—the individual pieces fulfill all requirements for functionality and tactile appeal. The design is tailored to the unique potential of handcrafted and individual production methods. I create all the decorations entirely by hand. Each piece bears the cobalt blue Sabine Wachs Porcelain logo as a backstamp.
