Porcelain – this material stands in the focus of my work as a designer and artist. In my studio I draft and produce porcelain works in all its diverse facets and varieties.
Designing and producing studio porcelains under my own trademark is an essential field of my work: Unique objects are singular in idea and implementation – art objects, free in form and colour: sculptures, flat surfaced or sculpted murals. As mini-series or limited editions, individual collections are created for exclusive dining and interiors as well as vessel objects, accessories or tiles – each piece gets an individual nuance through the manual processing technologies in my personal artistic style.
On the basis of its specific material qualities, porcelain can be an ideal material for art in building projects. For the application in interior and architectural elements I design and produce complex surfaces, murals and area concepts as well as singular area-referential elements.
As product designer I cooperate with porcelain manufactories as well as with the porcelain and ceramic industry: forms, surfaces, reliefs, pattern – design concepts.
